Turaki Seesaw Real Time Reporting using

At Turaki Primary School we SeeSaw.  All learners have their own journal that whanau and family and access 24/7. SeeSaw is an online learning journal that we use to share what and how your child is learning at school.  Your child will add documents, videos, and pictures throughout the week.

From Term 2 2022 we changed the way that we report to parents.  Instead of providing a written report twice a year to whanau, we will report using Seesaw Real Time Reporting throughout the year.

Students will have a ‘2025 Report’ folder in their Seesaw journal which is where evidence of their learning will be added.

Whanau initiated interviews about your child’s learning throughout the year are welcome.  Please make contact with your child’s team leader or the school office if you are wanting to meet with your child’s teachers.  Team leaders will then make contact with whanau to make a suitable time to meet with all teachers involved in your child’s learning.

During term 1 and 3 your child's teacher will make a time with whanau to meet face to face about their child's learning, as well as a 'check in' in Term 2 and 4, via phone, text, email

At the end of term 2 and term 4 each student will receive a General Comment and their curriculum level for Reading, Writing, and Maths.

A yellow tick shows where they are working at the end of term 2, and a green tick shows where they are working at the end of term 4.

Below is an example of what each student will receive.

This will include a general comment written at the end of Term 2 and Term 4.

The written teacher comments for each of their Seesaw Reporting posts, from over the year, will also be included.
