WELCOME TO ROOM KEA
Kia Ora koutou,
Ko Whaea Tanira tōku ingoa, and I am honoured to be the kaiako for Kea Class this year (2025). Born and Raised in Taumarunui, I have always felt a strong connection to our community, and it brings me great joy to be able to give back through education. With over 10 years of experience in education, I am passionate about creating a learning environment where tamariki feel safe, valued and inspired to explore their full potential.
As a mother to a beautiful baby girl, I understand the importance of whānau in a child’s learning journey. I believe that education is a partnership between school and home, and I am committed to working alongside you to support your child’s growth. In Kea Class, we cultivate a classroom culture of respect, curiosity, and resilience, where every student is encouraged to embrace challenges and celebrate their successes.
I look forward to getting to know you and your tamariki and working together to ensure they have the best possible learning experience. If you have any questions or would like to arrange a parent/teacher conference, please do not hesitate to reach out to me or the school office.
Ngā Mihi,
Whaea Tanira
