Kia ora and welcome to Room Kea.

 

2024 brings Whaea Tanira (learning assistant) back to our school, she will be teaching/supporting your children in Room Kea along with myself (Miss Rose).

I will be working Monday through to Thursday and Whaea Tanira will be in on Friday taking the class.

In our classroom your child will be learning Structured Literacy each morning and mathematics after morning tea., then we will be swimming in the afternoon for the first 5 weeks. 

I always have a high focus in my classroom on AROHA beliefs and values and will be encouraging students to obtain these values. 

You will be able to see your child’s learning through Seesaw and your comments will be appreciated.

This year all Literacy students will be in our Kea Hauora class and we will transition to maths classes.
